ChildSafe is an injury prevention unit based at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital that aims to reduce and prevent injuries of children in South Africa.
ChildSafe provides important education on injury risks and prevention measures at community and national levels. Their core focus is on the prevention of unintentional injuries such as burns, falls, drowning, road traffic crashes, choking, and poisoning.
Childsafe serves the provinces of Western Cape, Gauteng, and Eastern Cape.
