Towards a Healthy and Violence-Free Society

Since 2015, Youth Changers Kenya has worked across Kakamega, Kiambu, Kisumu, Nairobi, and Vihiga to build a society free from violence. 

The organisation runs programmes that promote sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), economic empowerment, the prevention of sexual and gender-based violence, and access to quality education for girls.  

Through its research and advocacy efforts, YCK works to influence policy and legislation that advance equality and protect human rights.

ZACCAF provides holistic care for children diagnosed with cancer, blood, and bleeding disorders in seven provinces. 

The organisation also offers practical and psychosocial support to their families, ensuring they are equipped to care for their children as best as possible.  

ZACCAF runs dedicated programmes for cancer, sickle cell disease, haemophilia, von Willebrand disease, and other bleeding disorders, with support varying from diagnosis guidance to long-term care.

ZRDF provides practical and sustainable interventions to 22 communities in the Central Province of Zambia by promoting community-led and owned initiatives.

Their interventions increase access to education and health care, improve household incomes and food security through better farming methods and micro credit, and raise awareness of HIV prevention, testing, and treatment retention.

Youth for Development and Opportunity (YODEP) has been providing essential services to children and young people in their community of Zomba since 1988.

YODEP’s programming includes early childhood development, secondary school support, nutritional support, youth development and leadership skills training, healthcare services, and HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment programs in Zomba and Mangochi districts.
