Masana wa Afrika’s Guide to Year-End Giving

As we draw nearer to the end of 2025, it’s the season for joyful giving, and we are asking you to stand with us as we contribute to organisations that are helping young African children thrive. With your support, more children can receive the care and support they need to reach their full potential.

Meet the Organisations:

Nancholi Youth Organization - Malawi

NAYO provides a holistic approach to youth and community development through a variety of interventions including running an HIV testing, prevention, and treatment clinic as well as services to breastfeeding mothers and children under five.

They also provide educational support, lead youth clubs, and facilitate village savings and loan groups.  Since its inception, NAYO has supported over 50,000 people in the Nancholi area of southern Malawi.

Nzeve Deaf Centre - Zimbabwe

Nzeve provides early intervention and ongoing support to hearing-impaired children and their families living in Manicaland.

Since 2000, more than 200 children have graduated from their early childhood education program with 98% of students going to to complete their primary education in classes where sign language was used.

Edward Ndlovu Memorial Trust (ENMT) - Zimbabwe

ENMT promotes literacy, education, and skills development in Gwanda in southern Zimbabwe. At their library, children can borrow books, improve their literacy skills, and enjoy storytelling and other activities, such as crafts, writing, and drama.

Zambian Childhood Cancer Foundation (ZACCAF) - Zambia

ZACCAF provides holistic care for children diagnosed with cancer, blood, and bleeding disorders in seven provinces.

ZACCAF runs dedicated programmes for cancer, sickle cell disease, haemophilia, von Willebrand disease, and other bleeding disorders, with support varying from diagnosis guidance to long-term care.

Vusumnotfo - Eswatini

Through early childhood development programs, nutrition and livelihood support, and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) programs, Vusumnotfo is nurturing the next generation to ensure that all children reach their full potential. The organization was formed by 17 communities in northern Eswatini in 1992.

Urunji Child Care Trust- Malawi

Urunji Child Care provides essential education, health, nutrition services, and psychosocial support to orphaned and vulnerable children living in Lilongwe District.

They ensure that each child receives support from their community so that they are able to maintain a sense of belonging and grow in a familiar and comforting environment.

Touching Tiny Lives - Lesotho

Touching Tiny Lives Trust (TTL) is the only organization caring for orphaned and vulnerable children in the rural, mountainous district of Mokhotlong, which supports children affected by severe malnutrition and HIV/AIDS.

Since 2004, TTL has directly supported thousands of children under the age of five with services that include nutritional rehabilitation, health assessments, immunization support, and vitamin supplementation. With an increased emphasis on prevention, TTL has expanded its scope to improve the nutritional status of families.

Woza Moya - South Africa

Founded in 2000 as a direct response to the HIV/AIDS pandemic that was ravaging their Ufafa Valley community, Woza Moya established a community caregiver program to provide door-to-door counselling and ensure that people, especially youth, get tested for HIV and other chronic diseases, have access to medications, and adhere to treatment.

Today, the centre also provides early childhood development services, sustainable livelihoods and youth development programs, a mobile health clinic, and programs to support orphaned and vulnerable children.

Watoto Wasoka - Uganda

Watoto Wasoka is a youth-led sport development organisation supporting girls and boys ages 8 –17 living in informal settlements in and around Kampala through football. In addition to organising some of the largest football events and camps for youth in Uganda, Watoto provides young people with education support through scholarships and bursaries, skills training, health education, and mental health services.
