HAO is committed to ensuring that rural and underserved communities—particularly individuals living with disabilities in Kigali—have access to specialised, high-quality healthcare and mental health services.
Through its climate change programme, HAO supports communities in adapting to and mitigating the health-related impacts of climate change.
Its capacity building programme focuses on equipping primary healthcare workers with enhanced skills in preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, and patient management. This strengthening of local healthcare capacity is aimed at improving overall health outcomes within the communities they serve.
